BARE AS YOU DARE - Kamloops, BC
The "Bare As You Dare" started as a fundraiser for a few Kamloops Ridge Runners members participating in the Kidney Foundation Of Canada's 100km Kidney March. It was decided that running around in your underwear was too much fun, so here we are again! Whether you're a tightie-whitey, grandma panties, a banana hammock or thong...come out and raise some money as well as some eye brows! All profits from the BAUD go to local organizations.

DAILY NEWS BOOGIE, DOWNTOWN KAMLOOPS - APRIL
Boogie was created in 1998 by Jo Berry.  Boogie took place out of Java Cycle and was attended by 62 runners and walkers. Boogie was born from a pivotal event in Jo's life, the loss of her mom, and she moved forward with recruiting a group of women. Jo believed in giving back and the theory that "Movement is Change" can assist in huge changes for women. Today it is the largest event in Kamloops and is sponsored by the Kamloops Daily News, the city of Kamloops and a host of other large sponsors!
